About Jordan Group Partners, LLC

Jordan Group Partners, LLC was founded by Y. Jordan Svorai, a real estate professional with extensive experience in development and investments, as well as public-private development work. Mr. Svorai is a licensed real estate broker (New York State) and a LEED® accredited professional. He has been consulting to a wide range of clients, including developers, fund managers, and institutional owners.

Mr. Svorai has helped real estate developers evaluate projects and properties, counseled on deal structuring and project financing, helped developers negotiate with public agencies, and provided team management and oversight of outside professionals. Among his assignments, he participated in the World Trade Center redevelopment project.

Mr. Svorai has advised investors on the feasibility of real estate development projects, property acquisitions, and business partnerships, and on how to effectively mitigate their associated risks. In addition to the New York metro area, his work has covered investment opportunities throughout the US.

Previously, Mr. Svorai was with LCOR, a national real estate development, investment, and asset management company, where he worked on complex public-private and traditional development projects. Among the former was the $1.4 billion Terminal 4 at Kennedy Airport, one of the largest privately financed airport projects in history, which includes a 100,000 square-foot retail concourse. Mr. Svorai worked on a wide range of development opportunities, including office, hotel, retail, residential and resort properties, in city centers, suburbs, and on foreign islands.

Mr. Svorai is a member of the board of directors of Guard Insurance Group and its subsidiaries.

Mr. Svorai has a Master’s degree in City and Regional Planning from Harvard University. He is a member of ULI – the Urban Land Institute, and Jordan Group Partners, LLC is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council.
